Once a long time ago, in a small town in the heart of mountains, Maiden's Mark began. The two girls were always surrounded by the sound of folk music. They appreciated the unfiltered sound that could come from folk music. They tried over the years to be able to recreate the same sounds of their idols. Some of those idols were The Byrd’s, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, The Mamas and the Papas and The Youngbloods. One morning as they were practicing and harmonizing their newest song they were greeted by a vision. A woman with long brown hair and holding a scepter with a flower on it. She said her name was Hera. She told Diana and Ehko that their music had brought her here and that they must create a band and share their music with the world. In a second she was gone. The girls questioned whether what they saw was a delusion but from that point on they aimed to spread their sound. Soon they had their first few hits with Goldilocks: Victim or Perpetrator and The Pigs: Why don’t they just let him in? They mostly focus on trying to stay humble and go to places most people avoid, the tiny towns no one thinks of- once in a while they may travel to a bigger city. They still think back to their shared vision on the starting day, but they blame exhaustion: once in a while, they see that same woman in the back row of the audience.
Rolling Stone had to say “I laughed, I cried, and I yelled. Making their mark on folk music in 2023.”
Pitchfork was quoted as saying “I swear I saw a goddess in the audience whispering that I needed to give them five stars. Maiden' Mark will keep you entertained for hours on end.”
Neon Music wrote “I wish they would tell me their fashion tips, somehow their hair always looks windswept. The way they can make me care about a villain with a song is amazing.”
